In the job shop with EB technology, maximum quality is always important when it comes to high-strength joints that have to withstand enormous stress later on.

The first priority here will certainly be applications in aviation and defence. The electron beam can also play an important role where costs are a major factor.

Our product range covers everything from larger to very large components as single pieces or manufactured in series. The GBT Group has electron beam chamber machines with chamber sizes up to 50 m³ available for this purpose.

Our electron beam drilling machines of the EBOPULS series are used if a large number of holes have to be drilled for each individual workpiece. Typical applications for electron beam perforation are, for example, the drilling of spinning heads for glass fibre production or the production of filter plates.
