Intensive contact with customers makes it possible to keep optimum control over new developments, improvements to electron beam machine designs and production processes for the EB technology.

Working with institutes and colleges, as is currently the case with the Jülich Research Centre and ISF Aachen for example, new procedures and ways of applying electron beam technology are researched and developed for the market where possible.

Steigerwald Strahltechnik takes on research and development work in order to enable rationalization and cost reduction by the use of electron beam technology, because EB technology often cuts out costly follow-up treatment, reduces the use of expensive materials and opens up new, innovative ways.
